Complete Care understands the importance of quality, person centred care. Providing a tailored care package, specific to the needs of the individiual is what we are good at. Our vision is to be a provider of choice, we work hard to ensure our customers and team are happy with how we deliver care and support.

Complete Care understands the importance of family, we are afterall a family run company. The time we get with our loved ones is precious and should not be one which is challenging or stressful. Complete Care will tailor care packages to eliminate or reduce pressure often placed on relatives so that they can spend quality time with their loved ones.

The majority of people can be cared and supported in their own home. A senior member of the Complee Care team will carryout a home visit to conduct a thorough assessment of how best we can meet the needs, wishes and preferences where possible of the individual. Because we tailor care packages to the person we are caring for it would be difficult to list everything that we offer as a service. What we would advise is that all request are considered and we will do our upmost to deliver care as requested.

As a responsible care provider, our main priority is to ensure the services we offer can be delivered safely and has the welfare of the individual at heart. Having the right level of support is vital when supporting someone to remain at home. Complete Care would look at equipment and other resources if needed should mobility, communication, daily tasks be an issue. Working in partnership with others to achieve a positive outcome is one of our key values to supporting people in out local communities.

It is possible to live well with Dementia and people can remain at home with the right level of support and care. Complete Care recognises the challenges that may present when someone has a diagnosis of dementia. Our team are highly trained to recognise and support people with dementia. Complete Care have recently introduced the dementia simulator experience which enables our team to experience the difficulties and challenges which impact on daily living.

Complete Care host dementia friends sessions to make people more aware of how we can make a positive difference.

Complete Care will try and be as responsive as possible to requests of care or support. Depending on the level of care and the capacity we have will determine how soon we can start a care package. If for example someone required cleaning, shopping or companionship calls then we could quite easily set this up within a couple of days. For people that are requiring more support or complex care then it is important to ensure a thorough assessment is completed first. This can take a few days to arrange however, once this has been completed and the times offered are agreed upon then the care can commence. Complete Care strongly suggests that individuals or their relatives are flexible with the times they would like in order for care to be started as waiting for the preferred time may take weeks or even months.

Complete Care understands the financial implications of receiving care and the worry this may cause to individuals and their relatives, this is why we have an honest and open approach to the fees we charge for our services.

There are two main types of funding;

Private basis

Personal care and Companionship £11.45 per half hour or £22.90 for the hour

Shopping - £16.80

Cleaning - £16.27

Local Authority Support

Individuals may be fully or part funded through the local authority. A financial assessment will be carried out to determine if / how much a person has to contribute to their care. More information can be found on the local authority websites.

Other funding

Attendance Allowance - Paid to those over 65 years of age that require care or support due to illness or injury and want to remain at home

Lower rate - £58.70 Frequent help or constant supervision during the day, or supervision at night

Higher rate - £87.65 Help or supervision throughout both day and night, or you’re terminally ill

Complete Care West Yorkshire Ltd recognises the importance of attracting, recruiting and retaining the right staff for the right roles. As a home care provider, regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) the company understands and takes its duties seriously to ensure we are meeting the standards set by CQC.

Complete Care West Yorkshire will;

Conduct an enhanced DBS check to ensure all applicants are safe to work in social care

Require a minimum of three references, one of which will be from a previous employer

Request an applicants full employment history. Any gaps in employment will be investigated

Conduct an health assessment

All applicants to provide three types of documents to prove their Identity and address. These will be checked to ensure they are valid.
