Complete Care West Yorkshire Ltd has successfully raised an impressive £455.50 to support the much-needed acquisition of a new MRI machine at Pinderfields Hospital.
The community-focused organisation held weekly stalls at Dewsbury and Pinderfields Hospital, where they sold their lovingly knitted ‘care dolls’ for just £3.50 each, significantly contributing to their fundraising goal.
In addition to the weekly stalls, Complete Care West Yorkshire also hosted a successful table-top sale back in September. Stallholders paid a nominal fee of £10 per table, and this initiative helped boost the total amount raised for the hospital's charity. The dedication and hard work of staff members, including Paige, the Social Media and Engagement Coordinator, and Tracy, a Community Care Professional, played a pivotal role in this successful fundraising campaign.
“We are unbelievably proud to have raised funds like this for our local hospital,” Paige remarked. “It is heartwarming to see how the community has come together to support such an important cause. Our knitted care dolls are not only a source of comfort for many, but they also represent the collective effort of everyone involved in this initiative.”
