What a fabulous day yesterday for Complete Care West Yorkshire and Complete Training!

We had an incredible time at the ‘We Are Wakefield’ collaboration event, and we were fortunate enough to be sharing a stall with our new chosen charity, Second Chance Headway. The highlight, was Chris Kamara who had popped in to say hello!
Then, it was a quick outfit change into an hi-vis vest for the My Hospital Charity ‘Hands Across Wakefield’ event, celebrating 125 years of Pinderfields Hospital. As a volunteer marshal for Point 20, the Registered Manager, Sara Booth was there to help encourage people to hold hands and form a human chain, a powerful symbol of unity and support. It was truly an inspiring experience to see so many come together for such a meaningful cause.
After the ‘hands across Wakefield’ finished the team met at Wakefield Cathedral where they were introduced to the Bishop of Wakefield and the HM Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, Ed Anderson.
We were grateful for the opportunity to be part of this wonderful day and look forward to more collaborations that strengthen our local community.
